This media has an excellent cutting capability. It can generate deep profile on metal surfaces very quickly. When working in a closed space it can generate large amounts of dust.

Starblast Cleaning was developed by the Dupont company as a replacement for sand in the sandblasting industry. Characteristics of this media include:

• it is 98% Silica free and performs in at a more consistent level than the use of sand
• generates less dust than traditional sandblasting
• comes in different sizes allowing us to select the ideal grade for the surface finish your project requires.
